How You Can Win Powerball
In Powerball there are two drawing machines each containing 45 balls numbered from 1 to 45. Five numbers are drawn from the first machine and a single number called the POWERBALL is then drawn from the second machine. To win first prize, you need to match exactly the 5 winning numbers drawn from the first machine and the POWERBALL number drawn from the second machine. As both machines contain balls numbered 1 to 45, the POWERBALL number may be the same as one of the first 5 numbers drawn. There are 7 prize divisions in total in Powerball and you can even win a prize by matching only 3 numbers.

One of your game number sets must match the winning combinations as above to win a prize. A game number set consists of 5 numbers plus one Powerball number.
